May 2014

The month of May started with another quick trip to Victoria for the dispersal of Joanne's Dad's estate and we also made room for a visit with my parents. Apart from spending time just hanging out we took a days drive up to the Toorongo Falls at Noojee and after a magnificently large bowl (bucket) of leek, potato and bacon soup at the pub, we made our way up to the falls in the cool following the ever noisier river to the top. We arrived just in time for the rain and so there were a few hurried photo's taken before we headed back down the 1.5km bush track to the warmth of the car.

The month of May is coming to an end and sees us about to finish up here in Pinnaroo, and just in time. The weather has changed in line with the season of winter with cold, wind and rain taking over the days weather. We have begun to prep the motorhome ready for us to move back into and turning it back into our home again.

Our plans are fairly tentative at this stage but we are going are to enjoy a little exploring and down time before heading back to family to finalise some things towards the end of June and then we will be heading off to explore some more of Australia for a few months in line with our work a little, play a little ideal, spending some of what we have earn 't over the past months. But where are you going we hear you ask. Well you will just have to wait and see. Until then entries here will be sporadic, but hopefully more often than of late.

Mark Twain once said "...years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do that by the things you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbour. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." - and so we will.
